Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
In Year 12, students have the opportunity to undertake the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which involves in-depth research on a self-chosen topic and the production of a 5000-word dissertation.
While the EPQ is typically not a requirement for university entry, it offers significant benefits by helping students develop advanced research skills and deepening their understanding of a subject they are passionate about. Choosing a topic related to their intended university course can enhance their application, provide compelling content for their personal statement and interviews, and equip them with valuable skills for their future studies.
