Pupil Admission Number (PAN) Reduction Consultation

Consultation – Harlington Upper School reduction of Published Admission Number (PAN).

The Published Admission Number (PAN) at Harlington Upper School is currently 270. This means that the number of pupils admitted to the academy in year 9 each year is a maximum of 270. The Trustees, Governors and Senior Leadership Team at Harlington Upper School wish to reduce this by 30 places which will result in an annual pupil intake of 240 effective September 2027 onward.

Reducing the PAN will support the school in effectively planning appropriate staffing and provision for our future cohorts while ensuring we continue to secure high-quality educational outcomes for the pupils currently on our roll.
