Enrichment Week at Harlington Upper School
At Harlington Upper School, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Our Enrichment Programme is a key part of the wider student experience, designed to inspire personal growth, develop essential life skills, and open the door to new and exciting opportunities.
Enrichment Week
Enrichment Week takes place during the summer term and offers students the chance to take part in a wide range of activities and trips, both in the UK and abroad. From adventurous outdoor experiences to creative workshops, sports, cultural visits, and life skills sessions, there’s something for everyone.
The week is all about trying something new, stepping out of their comfort zone, and making memories that last a lifetime.
Why Enrichment Matters
Enrichment Week is designed to offer meaningful and memorable experiences that support students’ social, emotional, and personal development. It encourages students to:
- Challenge themselves in new environments
- Work collaboratively with peers and staff
- Discover new passions and interests
- Develop independence and resilience
It’s a time when learning looks different, and when every student can find something that excites and motivates them.
Year-Round Enrichment Opportunities
While Enrichment Week is a highlight of the school calendar, our commitment to enrichment runs throughout the year. Students are encouraged to get involved in a wide variety of extracurricular clubs and societies, all supported by our dedicated and passionate staff.
These activities help to build a strong school community and give students additional opportunities to thrive outside of the classroom.
Looking Ahead
We are proud of the diversity and quality of our enrichment offer. Enrichment Week is a chance for every student at Harlington Upper to experience something different, develop new skills, and grow in confidence. Whether it’s exploring a new place, meeting new people, or simply trying something for the first time — this is a week not to be missed.
