Entry requirements
Students must achieve a minimum of 6 subjects at Grade ‘4’ or above to be accepted into Sixth Form. Additionally, subjects all have their own requirement criteria which can be found in the Sixth Form Choices booklet below. The school offers a broad and wide-ranging curriculum at post-16 with 24 A Level subjects, 4 Diploma and Level 3 Applied courses and several one-year courses for those students wishing to study four subjects. In 2025 the Basketball Programme was introduced which allows students a rigorous sporting option, which sits alongside A Level/Level 3 Courses.

Timeline
Parents and students are invited to the “Sixth Form Open Evening” on Thursday 27th November to meet the Headteacher, staff and students.
Parents and students are welcome to apply using the online application process from Friday 28th November (Apply Online | Harlington Upper School application4.co.uk)
Prospective parents and students new to Harlington are welcome to email for a tour/meeting before applying please contact ktoyer@harlington.org
All new to Harlington applicants will be invited for an evening interview with the senior team in February to March 2026.
All applications must be completed by the 12th February 2026.

On the 30th June 2026 pupils who are continuing into Sixth Form or aiming to join to Harlington, will be invited to spend one day at the school which includes a team building activity with an external company working and working with their new teachers and becoming familiar with the school. We expect all students to attend this transition day.
Transition work to be completed for respective A Level and BTEC subjects will be uploaded onto the school website in June 2026. This should be completed in advance commencing Sixth Form in September 2026.
Students will have their place confirmed on GCSE Results day in August 2026.
